Ashley is a multifaceted behavioral health specialist with over 10 years of experience in psychotherapy, medical case management, adjunct instruction, and health & wellness coaching. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia and is trained in motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Rogerian therapy, somatic therapy, grief therapy, ecotherapy, mindfulness, and crisis intervention.
Ashley is passionate about empowering women to take agency in their mental health journeys. She approaches mental health coaching as a collaborative, non-hierarchical relationship grounded in trust, humility, harmony, and creativity. Her work has focused on supporting women across the lifespan, especially during times of distress and transition. Her areas of expertise include women’s issues, grief and loss, caregiving, older adults, domestic violence, work-related stress, anxiety, mood disorders, and suicidality. Outside of her work, Ashley enjoys hiking, cycling, line dancing, Zumba, restorative yoga, and time with her one-year-old bully, Fendi Lou.
