Porcia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Dominican University. She approaches each session as a collaborative process, empowering clients through a non-judgmental, authentic, and compassionate therapeutic style.
Porcia values the importance of meaningful connection with oneself and with others, as a key part of healing. Her work is grounded in a client centered framework that honors each client’s unique story, affirms their identity, and supports their personal journey toward growth and healing.
Her clinical experience spans a wide range of settings, including hospitals, trauma units, nonprofits, college campuses, and employee assistance programs. She has also provided dedicated support to the disability community and facilitated bereavement groups in cancer care settings.
